The end has a tube (14) extended along an exhaust axis. A trimming cover (18) is situated around the tube and separated from the tube by a gap (J) to permit the tube from being displaced with respect to the cover. An obturator (36) partially blocks the gap. The obturator has a deflector (38) that is fixed on the tube and dimensioned for forming a free space (E1) along its entire external periphery (46) turned towards the cover so as to prevent the deflector from being supported on the cover, in the absence of external stresses. The deflector is made of flexible material opaque to light.
