PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair convertible to a bed, which can be mutually converted to a comfortable easy chair and a comfortable bed quickly, easily and safely by one person, can be placed even in a small space, and can be easily moved further. SOLUTION: In the chair, a seat surface seat 10, a backrest seat 20, a back surface seat 30 and a chair body rack 53 are successively connected by hinges and it can be converted to a bed by pulling out the seat surface seat 10 forward. A resin rail 41 whose lower part is formed as a sliding surface is provided on the side face of a truck 40 provided under the seat surface seat, the storage portion 54 of the resin rail 41 is provided at the chair body rack, and a wedge-shaped metal fitting 55 whose front surface is formed into a slope and rear surface is formed as a vertical surface is provided on the front end of the storage portion. The wedge-shaped metal fitting is capable of locking the resin rail on the rear surface after the resin rail 41 is stored, and when the seat surface seat is pulled out forward or pushed in to the back, the resin rail 41 is slidable at the top part 56 of the wedge-shaped metal fitting.
