PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop digger in which the front part of a conveying mechanism can laterally be swung to correspond to the change of a pulling-out position at any time, even when the front and rear root crop-planted positions are laterally slipped. SOLUTION: The crop digger includes a machine frame K mounted on a mobile machine, a conveying mechanism H for holding the stems S1 of planted root crops S and then conveying the crops S in a rear upper direction, and a connection mechanism G for connecting the frame 4 of the conveying mechanism H to the machine frame K. The connection mechanism G has a middle connection mechanism GR for supporting a middle part in the back and forth direction of the frame 4 in a hanging state, and a front connection mechanism GF for supporting the front part of the frame 4 in a laterally swingably hanging state.
