Measurement of ion concentration requires calibration before being started, and the start of the measurement is correspondingly delayed. To avoid this, the need for calibration is negated by directly reading an electrode slope value specific to an ion selective electrode that measures the concentration of a specific ion dissolved in a test solution from an information presenting unit of an ion selective electrode cartridge in which the ion selective electrode is included.
