<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when preparing a new schedule of software development by reusing a past schedule, it is necessary to review all the start dates and periods of each work, thereby hindering a reduction of man-hours for schedule preparation. <P>SOLUTION: The software development project management device creates a new software development process by using a past process having the records of the start and end dates of each work stage of software development executed in the past. The device is configured to convert the start and end dates of each work stage of the past process into the relative number of days from the process start date of the past process, and to calculate the rate of conversion using a difference in the number of days between the end date and start date of the given new software development process and the period of the past process as a numerator and a denominator, respectively, and to multiply the relative number of days from the process start date of the past process by the rate of conversion, and to apply the converted process start date of the previous process to the start date of the given new software development process, and to obtain the new software development process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
