<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding apparatus, an image reading apparatus and an image forming apparatus, which suppress a curl of a sheet without obstructing sheet feeding. <P>SOLUTION: An original document tray 101 on which sheets are accommodated in the sheet feeding direction in sheet feeding apparatus includes an elevating/lowering placing plate 1 with the sheets being placed thereon, which moves the sheets to a position at which the sheets can be fed on a pickup roller 51, a detection unit which detects that the sheets are placed on the placing plate 1, and a curl suppressing member 7 which presses a central portion in a width direction perpendicular to the sheet feeding direction of the accommodated sheets to suppress the upward curl of downstream edges in the sheet feeding direction of the sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
