PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can cause a liquid crystal display element to surely display various pieces of information by enhancing connection reliability of a flat circuit body in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes a liquid crystal panel for displaying various pieces of information, a connection cable 10b drawn to the outside from the inside of the liquid crystal panel 10, a holder 21 holding the liquid crystal panel 10, and a cover member 27 covering the holder 21. The holder 21 is formed in a case shape having a bottom wall 22 and a peripheral wall 23 and has a deriving part 25 which extends from the outer edge part of the bottom wall 22 and has the connection cable 10b of the liquid crystal panel 10 located on the surface thereof to draw the connection cable 10b out of the holder 21. The cover member 27 is formed in a case shape having a front wall 28 and as peripheral wall 29 and has a covering part 29a which extends from the end part of the peripheral wall 29, and covers the connection cable 10b located on the surface of a recessed part 26 of the deriving part 25 of the holder 21 when the cover member 27 is mounted on the holder 21.
