摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell, an electrode membrane assembly (MEA) containing this electrode catalyst, and the fuel cell with the electrode membrane assembly. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode catalyst for the fuel cell containing ruthenium (Ru) and rhodium (Rh) alloy, an electrode membrane assembly (MEA) containing the electrode catalyst, and a fuel cell having the electrode membrane assembly are provided. The ruthenium-rhodium alloy catalyst has superior oxygen reduction activity and also has superior methanol resistance compared with an existing platinum and platinum system alloy catalyst, thereby it can be used for the electrode catalyst for the fuel cell with high performance and high efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
