PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting rotating machine of high efficiency and high power which uses a superconducting bulk which is used as a rotating machine without being magnetized. SOLUTION: The superconducting rotating machine includes a field having a magnetic field generating coil and a rotor comprising a superconducting bulk that shields a magnetic flux generated from the magnetic field generating coil, and a stator having an armature coil. The armature coil is arranged on the outer periphery side of the superconducting bulk. A plurality of superconducting bulk bodies are so arranged as to alternately form a shielding part of magnetic flux and a non-shielding part against the armature coil. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
