PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery system that is high in reliability for disconnection failure. SOLUTION: The secondary battery system includes a chargeable/dischargeable secondary battery 101, a charging/discharging current detection means 103 for detecting charging/discharging current of the secondary battery 101, a plurality of single cell battery voltage detection means 102 for detecting each of voltages of a plurality of single cell batteries constituting the secondary battery 101, and a computation means 104 for detecting the abnormality of the charging/discharging current detection means 103 on the basis of the charging/discharging current values detected by the charging/discharging current detection means 103 and single cell battery voltage values detected by the single cell battery voltage detection means 102.
