PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preview function by which a print content and a print position of transparent toner are easy to be understood. SOLUTION: Transparent image data and RGB image data are converted into resolutions of preview images by resolution conversion means 301 and 302. Also, gradation conversion is executed so that the RGB image data whose resolutions are converted become thin using a gradation conversion means 303. Then, the transparent image data outputted from the resolution conversion means 301 are synthesized to the RGB image data outputted from the gradation conversion means 303 by a synthesis means 304 so as to output the data to an image display device as preview image data.
