<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply management device which detects the state of a relay correctly and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply management device includes a switch for switching between conduction and nonconduction of power, a relay provided in the downstream of the switch in order to turn supply of power to the power supply on/off when the relay is energized, a relay drive control means for energizing the relay, and a relay interruption state detection means provided in the downstream of the relay for receiving power supply when the switch is in a conducting state and the relay is in an off-state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
