1311890 Mobile crane ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL AG 13 April 1970 [18 April 1969] 17442/70 Headings B8B and B8H A mobile crane comprises a base frame 6 rotatably mounted on a vehicle chassis 4, a telescopic jib 14 pivotally connected at 13 to a boom 9 which is pivotally connected at 8 to the base frame 6, a link 15 in the form of an hydraulic ram pivotally interconnected between the jib 14 and base frame 6, and a second hydraulic ram 10 pivotally interconnected at 11 and 12 to the base frame 6 and boom 9 respectively, the jib 14 being raised from an initial inoperative position to the positions shown as I, II, III on operation of both the rams 10, 15. The effect of the member 15 may be varied by providing alternative positions (16(a)-16(c)) on the base frame 6, Fig. 3 (not shown). |
