PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that prevents an imaging unit from being displaced from a proper position when connecting the imaging unit and a main circuit board through a connector, thereby facilitating the connecting work. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging unit which is obtained by unitizing an imaging device package, a first circuit board on which the imaging device package and a first connector are mounted, and an imaging device holding member holding the imaging device package; an imaging unit holding member which biases the imaging unit in an optical axis direction to hold it; a second circuit board on which a second connector is mounted and which is fixed to a camera body; and a conductive member which is connected to the first connector and the second connector to connect the first circuit board and the second circuit board. By inserting the conductive member in the first connector in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction, the conductive member is connected to the first connector.
