PURPOSE: A tong apparatus for an excavator is provided to reduce initial manufacturing costs and simplify structure, since a single cylinder operates a first arm and a second arm. CONSTITUTION: A tong apparatus for an excavator comprises a body(10), a link bracket(30), a first arm(50), a second arm(70), and a cylinder(90). The link bracket is formed on the top of the body. The first arm comprises a first grip portion(510) and a first extension portion(530). The first extension portion is extended from the upper end of the first grip portion to the inside of the first grip portion. The second arm comprises a second grip portion(710) and a second extension portion(730). The cylinder is formed between the body and the first arm and is extended vertically, so the lower ends of the first arm and the second arm are rotated and moved leftward and rightward. |
