METHOD FOR SULFURIZING HYDROCARBON PROCESSING CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sulfurizing a hydrocarbon processing catalyst in fields of oil purification and petrochemistry.

SOLUTION: The method for sulfurizing the hydrocarbon processing catalyst is characterized by: accumulating one or more auxiliary sulfurizing agents shown by formula (I) (wherein R1and R2can be the same or different from each other and are each a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain, saturated or unsaturated 1-30C hydrocarbon-based group which does not include any aromatic ring) on the surface of the hydrocarbon processing catalyst; and bringing the resulting hydrocarbon processing catalyst into contact with a sulfur-containing gaseous mixture including hydrogen and a sulfur compound to sulfurize the resulting hydrocarbon processing catalyst.
