PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency when inserting/removing a battery device holding a recording medium into/from the battery storage part of electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The battery device mountable on the electronic equipment includes a recording medium-holding part for detachably holding the recording medium, and a power supply connection terminal for supplying power to the electronic equipment. The recording medium holding part is formed so that the direction of inserting/removing the battery device into/from the electronic equipment and the direction of inserting/removing the recording medium into/from the recording medium holding part intersect each other.
