PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device having good stop accuracy at a predetermined opening angle near 180°. SOLUTION: A first base member 202 and a second base member 211 are mounted to a shaft 213 equipped with a rotating range limiting mechanism to constitute the hinge device 201. The rotating range limiting mechanism is provided with a pair of engaging projection parts 222, 223 at a pitch corresponding to an openable/closable angle with respect to a rotary shaft center of the shaft 213. Responding to this, a first recess part 203 is formed so that one engaging projection part 222 is engaged with the recess part and is positioned, in an opened state or a closed state of the hinge. A wide second recessed part 204 is formed so that the other engaging projection part 223 abuts only on one side face of the recessed part and is positioned in the opened state of the hinge, and the other engaging projection part 222 abuts only on the other side face of the recessed part and is positioned in the closed state.
