PURPOSE: A portable device and a method for combining and outputting a photo to a recording file are provided to properly display the photo in case the portable device reproduces a recording file. CONSTITUTION: In case a sound-record function is executed, a sound-recorded file generating unit(182) generates a record file(152). The sound-recorded file generating unit combines a recording point to the recording file. A sound-recorded file reproducing unit(184) outputs the photo according to the recording point. A display unit(170) receives and displays the photo from the sound-recorded file reproducing unit.
