<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air cleaner which can efficiently collect contaminated air and automate maintenance, and, further, has small reduction in capacity due to aging. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes: a fibrous dust collecting filter 21 arranged on the lee side of a dust collecting filter 26; a cleaning tub 9 to store cleaning liquid for cleaning the fibrous dust collecting filter 21; a water feeding tank 14; a hydrogen peroxide generator 10 to electrolyze water fed to the cleaning tub 9 from the water feeding tank 14 to generate hydrogen peroxide, so that the cleaning liquid is turned to hydrogen peroxide-containing cleaning liquid; and a tray 30 to store water fed from the water feeding tank 14 to dip the lower part of a vaporizing filter 24. The fibrous dust collecting filter 21 is formed into an annular shape and circularly movably supported, and a part of which is dipped into the cleaning liquid while moving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
