PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus 20 that provides a driver of a vehicle with information on facilities which are easier to stop at. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 20 includes: a map data storage unit 28 for storing link data and map data; a facility information storage unit 21 for storing data on, for each facility ID, the coordinates of the facility, the link ID of a road the entrance of the facility faces, and an icon indicating the facility; a current location calculation unit 27 for calculating the current location and traveling direction of the vehicle; a facility ID extraction unit 23 for extracting the facility ID of a facility which is positioned on the left side of the traveling direction of the vehicle on the road on which the vehicle is traveling and of which the distance following the path from the road to the entrance of the facility is less than a preset threshold; and a display control unit 22 for displaying the icon of the facility corresponding to the extracted facility ID in a different manner from the icon of a facility corresponding to a facility ID which has not been extracted by the facility ID extraction unit 23.
