PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator using rainwater, generating electricity by efficiently using rainwater without impairing the external appearance of a building due to the installation of a power generation means. SOLUTION: This power generator using rainwater, installed to also serve as a vertical gutter of the building includes: a cylindrical case body 1 attached to the catch basin 22 of the lateral gutter 21 of a roof through an elbow 23 along the corner C of the building T; a plurality of power generation sections 2 vertically arranged at intervals in a rainwater flow passage S in the case body 1; and water collecting sections 3 for allowing rainwater to run into the power generation sections 2. Each of the water collecting sections 3 is funneled to block the whole flow passage S in the case body 1, and is disposed above each of the power generation sections 2. Each of the power generation section 2 is provided with a water turbine 6 rotated by receiving rainwater led to run into from each of the water collecting sections 3, and a generator 5 having a rotor 13 rotated in conjunction with the rotation of the water turbine 6.
