PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone-based elastic wood adhesive which ensures a small viscosity change under temperature changes and imparts adhesive strength comparable to that of the existing wood adhesives. SOLUTION: A diorganopolysiloxane base having a specific composition essentially including a diorganopolysiloxane having a hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group at both ends of a molecular chain is blended with a predetermined amount of specific calcium carbonate to obtain the objective adhesive.
