摘要 <p>The contacting device for a welding torch, comprises a graphite body (2) that has a feed hole (4) for guiding and electrically contacting a welding electrode (3), and a base body (8) that partially surrounds the graphite body. The feed hole extends along a longitudinal axis of the contacting device. The graphite body comprises basal levels that are inclined under an angle of 45[deg] to longitudinal axis of the graphite body. The feed hole has a pentagonal cross-sectional surface. The contacting area (7a, 7b) is formed to an external surface of the graphite body. The contacting device for a welding torch, comprises a graphite body (2) that has a feed hole (4) for guiding and electrically contacting a welding electrode (3), and a base body (8) that partially surrounds the graphite body. The feed hole extends along a longitudinal axis of the contacting device. The graphite body comprises basal levels that are inclined under an angle of 45[deg] to longitudinal axis of the graphite body. The feed hole has a pentagonal cross-sectional surface. The contacting area (7a, 7b) is formed to an external surface of the graphite body between an end and a middle area of the graphite body. The contacting area is formed as projection on an internal wall of the base body and/or as projection on external wall of the graphite body. The base body has a clamping tip in order to clamp the graphite body in the base body. The contacting areas are arranged in longitudinal direction of the contacting device, are selectable through length changing of the base body and/or clamping of tip for contacting the graphite body and are distributed in longitudinal direction of the flow nozzle in step-like manner. The base body has a thread at torch side and consists of metal or metal alloy with low electric resistance than the graphite body made of copper or copper alloy. The contacting areas pass transverse to longitudinal axis of the contacting area, which comprises contacting points. The contacting areas comprise ring-shaped projections and bridge a free area between an external surface of the graphite body and internal surface of the base body. The base body is slotted in a front end area in collet-like manner and is clamped in connection with a conical surface-clamping reception of the clamping tip on front end area of the graphite body. The surface of the graphite body is coated and/or compressed. The clamping tip consists of electrically and/or thermally insulated materials such as ceramics, high temperature loading plastic or also special graphite. The graphite body consists of powder metallurgically produced graphite, pyrolytically deposited graphite or graphite layers of graphite-, metallic and/or insulating carrier materials.</p>
