<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child safety seat assembly in which erroneous insertion and operation of a safety belt 31 can be prevented, and the seat assembly can be safer in use. <P>SOLUTION: The child safety seat assembly includes a base having a plurality of protruding sidewalls, and a seat movably assembled with the base having a plurality of anchoring slots adapted to retain a portion of the safety belt, in which the seat is switchably adjustable between an erected position and a reclined position relative to the base. Some of the anchoring slots can be selectively obstructed by the sidewalls of the base when the seat is adjusted to a different inclination relative to the base.
