PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that boiling is detected by a water temperature detection means so as to stop the energization of a heating means, thereby causing a dispersion in temperature detected by the water temperature detection means due to the radiation of heat of the heating means, and giving influence on the elution of a tea component by the instability of a pH value in the hot water after boiling due to the instability of a boiling detection period. SOLUTION: A steam temperature detection means 6 for detecting steam is arranged in a steam passage 5. A pH improving means 8 is arranged, which duty-energizes the heating means 3 after the steam temperature detection means 6 detects the steam in a case where a tea serving course is selected. Consequently, the dispersion is not caused in the boiling detection period, and also the tea with the improved pH value for promoting the extraction of the tea component is stably provided.
