PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC power converter having a compact energy-migration capacitor, and steadily reducing a switching loss. SOLUTION: The DC/DC power converter uses the energy-migration capacitor and an inductor, utilizes charging and discharging of the energy-migration capacitor to perform DC/DC conversion, and includes a means of detecting or calculating a ripple voltage of the energy-migration capacitor and a means of adjusting a switching frequency of a semiconductor switching element according to the detected or calculated ripple voltage.
