PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device for coke dry quenching equipment capable of preventing biting of red heat coke on a bottom cover of a coke bucket and stably performing reception and conveyance of the red heat coke. SOLUTION: The charging device can load a coke bucket 12 provided with the bottom cover 11 which can be opened downward by making the side edge part to serve as fulcrum and has a charging chute 14 provided with a charging cover 13 which can be opened downward, wherein the coke bucket 12 is loaded on to the charging chute, and the bottom cover 11 and the charging cover 13 are opened to charge the red heat coke into a dry quenching chamber 15. In the charging chute 14, gas ejection nozzles 29 to 32 are disposed toward open fulcrums 25, 26 on positions in non-contact with the opening bottom cover 11 which are on the lateral sides of the open fulcrums 25, 26 of the bottom cover 11, the gas ejection nozzles 29 to 32 are inclined downward from the base side over the top side and, when the bottom cover 11 is opened, gas is sprayed toward a skirt part 37 of the red heat coke accumulated on the parts of the open fulcrums 25, 26 on the upper surface of the opened bottom cover 11 to drop the red heat coke downward.
