MOVING METHOD OF STRUCTURE AND BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving method of a structure by which a base-isolation-supported structure can be moved without regard to a weight or a size of the structure, and to provide a building having the structure which is moved by this moving method of the structure. SOLUTION: By applying force by a force-application means in the lateral direction on a slide member 28 on a rubber body side fixed on a rubber body 22, the magnitude and the direction of resilience generated from the rubber body 22 on which the force is applied change. Because of this, the balance state of the resilience-reaction force changes, and the upper structure 12 moves in the lateral direction with respect to the lower structure 16 until it becomes in the new balance state.
