PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter in which a white image can be formed in a desired color, and a multicolored expression can be achieved when a color image and the white image are printed by the use of inks of various colors including white. SOLUTION: A printer for printing on a transparent printing medium by using the inks of various colors including white is equipped with a head having; a first nozzle group for injecting ink so as to form a color image; and a second nozzle group for injecting white ink and at least one color ink other than white. The printer is equipped with a controller for controlling the head and forming a first color image, a first toning white image, a second toning white image set independently of the color of the first toning white image, and a second color image in this order on one surface of a printing medium.
