The present invention is directed to a securing cap for use in fixing a wall with a floor or ceiling mounting. The securing cap is snap fitted within the space between the wall and floor or ceiling mounting thereby fixing each component in position. The present invention is also directed to a wall assembly for use in buildings or sheds where wall panels are positioned relative to each other to form a wall and held in the desired position with the use of the securing caps. The securing caps also serve to prevent the accumulation of dust and debris within the space formed by the wall and the floor or ceiling mountings.
