PURPOSE: A method for setting channels and a broadcast receiving apparatus adopting the same are provided to enable a user to easily select a channel of an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) with a general broadcasting channel. CONSTITUTION: A method for setting channels comprises the steps of: receiving a channel number; inputting a frequency and a bandwidth to a frequency input section(320) and a bandwidth input section(330); and changing the states of the frequency and bandwidth input sections into inactive state. A channel setting window(300) includes a channel number input section(310), the frequency input section, the bandwidth input section, an IP address input section(340), and a domain name input section(350). |
