PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which has less restriction on arranging positions, and contributes minaturization. SOLUTION: The image-forming device includes: a magnetic field-detecting part 30 which detects a magnetization part 301 formed on an intermediate transfer belt 9; and a belt driving-controlling part 202 which detects the quantity Sns_f of displacement, in a driving direction, of the intermediate transfer belt 9 and the quantity Sns_A of displacement, in a perpendicular direction to the driving direction, of the intermediate transfer belt 9 on the basis of the result of the detection conducted by the magnetic field-detecting part 30.
