PURPOSE: A disinfection device for an escalator is provided to rapidly disinfect bacteria and foreign materials in the surface of a moving handrail. CONSTITUTION: A disinfection device for an escalator comprises: a compressor(40) which is built in a space part(30) offered to the lower part of a truss(20) of an escalator; a storage tank(50) combined with an outlet of the compressor; a plurality of injection nozzles(70) combined with the frame equipped to the top of the storage tank; and a heating unit(90) combined with the outside of a flange. In the heating unit, a ceramic heater(92) is equipped inside a protective cap. A spiral pipe is equipped inside the ceramic heater. |
