<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character recognition device not stopping read processing for forms, even when failed in the read processing for the forms, and can matching an order of stored form images, with an order of the forms mounted initially on a hopper. <P>SOLUTION: The character recognition device of one embodiment includes a storage means, and reads the form images of the forms sequentially by conveying a plurality of forms and recognizes the characters. The character recognition device includes further a determination means for determining whether the form image of the form is read normally or not, and an image storage means for storing the from images read normally into the storage means according to a reading order, and for storing either of the form image of the form before or after the form with not read normally, while correlated with identification information indicating that the form image is not read normally, based on a result in the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
