PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal and an AC adapter capable of enhancing electric connection reliability between a terminal and the connection terminal by securely pinching the terminal to be inserted into the connection terminal. SOLUTION: The connection terminal and the AC adapter are provided with a frame body 41 made in a lateral U-shape, first elastic contact pieces 43, 44 fitted to the frame body 41 at a part located to a side where pin plugs 22 are inserted and equipped with first contact parts 67, 71 in contact with outer periphery side faces of the pin plugs 22, second elastic contact pieces 45, 46 fitted to the frame body 41 at a part located to a side where the pin plugs 22 are inserted, equipped with second contact parts 69, 72 in contact with side faces of the pin plugs 22 and arranged so as to oppose to the first elastic contact pieces 43, 44, and a third elastic contact piece 48 fitted to the frame body 41 at a part located opposite to a side where the first and the second elastic contact pieces 43 to 46 are provided and in contact with end parts of the pin plugs 22.
