PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently perform registration of a management object device to a communication device. SOLUTION: A center system (management device) 1 transmits, when an OA device as a management object is selected and management object device information including identification information on the device is input, the device information and a registration request to a communication adaptor (communication device) 21. The communication adaptor 21 preliminarily retains identification information (IP address, device model number, etc.) for OA devices to be connected to itself, and retains network information (IP address, etc.) not used for access also when it is input. Upon receipt of the management object device information and registration request from the center system 1, the communication adaptor 21 searches the OA device of the management object from OA devices shown by the retained identification information based on identification information except the identification information matched to the network information among the management object device information, registers identification information on the searched device as the management object device, transmits a registration result including the identification information to the center system 1 to accumulate it therein.
