In a method for the three-dimensional reproduction of a relief and/or an image original, using a smooth thermoplastic film that is provided with a graphical depiction of the relief and/or image original, particularly imprinted film, as the base material for the relief, and a positive relief mold, wherein the film is exactly superimposed with the positive relief mold and is thermoplastically deformed with heat during a thermoplastic deformation step, a solution is to be created that provides a simplified method for reproducing a relief and/or image original. This is achieved by carrying out the following steps: a) Providing the thermoplastic film, b) while marking the position of the relative position to each other, exact arrangement of a relief mold base material allowing a view of the film on or with slight distance over the image side of the film, c) applying the relief structure corresponding to the graphical depiction on the side of the relief mold base material facing away from the image side of the film by applying a relief mold material shaping and forming the positive relief mold, d) introducing the positive relief mold into a heat treatment device, e) corresponding to the position marking from step b), exact placement of the side facing away from the film on the structured upper side of the positive relief mold, and f) carrying out a thermoplastic deformation and/or embossing of the film. |
