PURPOSE: Liquid for preventing the scattering of dust and a method for preventing the scattering of dust using the same are provided to improve the environment of workplace by preventing the scattering of dust. CONSTITUTION: Liquid for preventing the scattering of dust includes aqueous solution, starch sugars, water-soluble polymer, insecticide, and pigment. The starch sugars and the water-soluble polymer are soluble in the aqueous solution. The water-soluble polymer is selected from acrylic acid or vinyl acetate. The liquid includes 50 to 99 weight% of the aqueous solution and 1 to 50 weight% of the starch sugars or includes 50 to 98 weight% of the aqueous solution, 1 to 25 weight% of water-soluble polymer, and starch sugars. The insecticide and the pigment are additionally included in the liquid.
