The present invention relates to a pan/tilt apparatus, and more specifically, to a pan/tilt apparatus which is quiet, low-power consuming, and miniaturized for providing pan and tilt rotations by converting linear motions of a small piezoelectric linear motor to rotary motions. In accordance with the above mentioned aspects of the present invention, the pan/tilt apparatus comprises a tilt driving unit for tilting the first rotary body by the first piezoelectric driving unit which moves linearly according to the physical displacement of piezoelectric material generated by applied electric field; a pan driving unit for panning the second rotary body by the second piezoelectric driving unit which moves linearly according to the physical displacement of piezo¬ electric material generated by applied electric field; a tilt frame of which bottom is combined perpendicularly with said pan driving unit and top is combined with said tilt driving unit, for supporting tilting rotation of said tilt driving unit and panning; a supporting axis, combined along rotary axis of said pan driving unit, for supporting panning according to the rotation of said pan driving unit; and a supporting board, combined perpendicularly with said supporting axis, for supporting the entire pan/tilt apparatus. |
