SYSTEM FOR INPUTTING ADDRESS AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for inputting an address are provided to easily input the address without inputting whole actual address by coding a Hangul initial consonant matched with the address to the matched address. An address code input part(110) inputs an address code comprising the Hangul initial consonant of the actual address to an address input window. A memory(130) stores the first table(132) storing the actual address matched with the address code and the second table(134) storing zip codes matched with each actual address. A display part(140) displays the address input window. A controller(120) finally recognizes the actual address corresponding to the inputted address code by matching the inputted address code with information stored in the memory. The memory stores the third table(136) storing the information for the addresses having the same address code and the different address. The finally recognized actual address is displayed to the address input window and is stored to the memory after conversion.
