PURPOSE: An image storing device for a vehicle and a method of providing driving information are provided to enable a driver to receive appropriate benefit or disadvantage since information on the use of the vehicle and accident occurring possibility is continuously managed. CONSTITUTION: An image storing device for a vehicle comprises a sensor(245), a vehicle-information collecting unit(240), and a driving information generating unit(250). The sensor comprises one or more of a position information unit, an inertia sensor and an environment sensor. The vehicle-information collecting unit collects vehicle information from one or more of one or more sensors and a self-inspecting unit. The driving information generating unit uses one or both of sensing information and the vehicle information. The driving information generating unit generates driving information on the use of the vehicle.
