The invention relates to a foldable stretcher comprising two parallel bars (1) connected by means of foldable cross members (4) and on which the opposing sides of a piece of fabric (5) shaped as a surface for supporting the patient are fixed, in addition to straps (7) with adjustable closing means. Each of the bars (1) is made of four tube sections (11, 12, 12, 11) joined together in an articulated manner by U-shaped hinged parts (2, 3, 2) with lower cut-outs (21, 31). The end sections (11) have extendable handles (6) and feet (8) having a U-shaped end configuration that is open towards the lower region, for receiving the next section of the corresponding bar (1) when the stretcher is folded. |
