<p>Provided is a joint for a flexible tube, which does not have a tendency to allow leakage of fluid therefrom. The joint body (20) of the joint (10) for a flexible tube comprises an insertion hole (40), a first storage section (42), a seal member diameter-reducing guide section (48), and a second storage section (44). A seal member (22) comprises a body section (60a) and a single annular section (60c). The body section (60a) is pushed deeply into the second storage section (44) by the end of the flexible tube (300) stored in the joint body (20). The single annular section (60c) is drawn into the second storage section (44) when the body section (60a) is pushed deeply into the second storage section (44). When the single annular section (60c) is drawn into the second storage section (44), the single annular section is engaged with the root section (312) of the flexible tube (300) by the seal member diameter-reducing guide section (48). After the single annular section is drawn into the second storage section (44), the single annular section seals the gap between the inner periphery of the second storage section (44) and the outer periphery of the flexible tube (300).</p> |
