<p>A method and a system for automatic answering based on an intelligent network are disclosed in the present invention. In the foregoing method, when a call from a caller terminal to a called terminal is received, according to a prestored correspondence among the condition information, answering modes and answering contents of the called terminal, the answering mode and the answering content corresponding to the current condition information of the called terminal are obtained (501), and the obtained answering content is answered to the caller terminal by using the obtained answering mode (503).
