<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, electronic equipment, and a projection-type video apparatus which are hard to be affected by reflection of external light in a predetermined range of viewing angle and of which images are visible with the optimal contrast. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes a display panel 120, and a prism 110 that is installed at a display face 120a side of the display panel 120 and has an inclination face 110b inclined to the display face 120a. An inclination angle θw of the inclination face 110b of the prism 110 with respect to the display face 120a is set such that a projection angle θd of display light L projected from the display face 120a and transmitted through the prism 110 is equal to or more than the smaller angle of an incident angle θ1 and a reflection angle θ2 of external light in the inclination face 110b based on a normal line 120v of the display face 120a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
