PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device having a short warming-up time and good durability. SOLUTION: The image heating device is typically configured to include: a heating belt for heating a toner image on a recording material at a heating nip part; a pressure member which comes in contact with the heating nip part to form the heating nip part; and a guide member which is disposed at the inside of the heating belt to interpose the heating belt between it and the pressure member. The image heating device includes a pressing member for pressing the heating belt from the outside toward the rotating body (guide member) located at the inside so that the heating belt and the pressing member come in contact with each other in the more upstream area in the rotating direction of the heating belt than the area where the heating belt is interposed between the guide member and the pressure member.
