PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting device which carries out ejection inspection as accurately as possible. SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting device includes a nozzle that ejects liquid, a sensor that outputs a signal in accordance with temperature change of the liquid, a driving signal generation part that generates a driving signal for ejecting the liquid from the nozzle, an inspection part that makes the liquid ejected from the nozzle a first electrical potential by a first electrode, that ejects the liquid of a first electrical potential to a second electrode of a second electrical potential different from the first electrical potential by the driving signal, and that inspects presence/absence of liquid ejection from the nozzle based on change of capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a control part that corrects the driving signal generated by the driving signal generation part in accordance with the liquid temperature based on the output result of the sensor in the ejection inspection so as to make liquid weight ejected from the nozzle when the liquid temperature based on the output result of the sensor is first temperature heavier than liquid weight ejected from the nozzle when the liquid temperature based on the output result of the sensor is second temperature lower than the first temperature.
