Provided is a dye sensitized solar cell. The solar cell comprises a first electrode. A porous semiconductor layer is located on the first electrode. A dye coupled with the porous semiconductor layer is provided. An organic/inorganic hybrid photonic crystal layer is arranged on the porous semiconductor layer. The organic/inorganic hybrid photonic crystal layer comprises a hydrophobic-hydrophilic block copolymer film having a repetitive structure in which hydrophobic polymer domains and hydrophilic polymer domains are formed to alternate and a metal oxide is introduced within the hydrophilic polymer domains. An electrolyte is located within the porous semiconductor layer and the photonic crystal layer. A second electrode is arranged on the photonic crystal layer. The photonic crystal layer selectively reflects the waveform band absorbed through the dye of the entire waveform band of the incident solar light. Accordingly, the reflective light can be absorbed by the dye once more. Consequently, the light absorption rate is improved by the dye and the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the dye sensitized solar cell can be enhanced thereby.
