PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to form an insulating layer between a contact layer of the first rectifying unit and a Schottky metal layer of the second rectifying unit, thereby preventing an unnecessary short circuit path. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of rectifying units includes the first rectifying unit(130) and the second rectifying unit(140) for rectifying an AC signal into a DC signal. One of the first rectifying unit and the second rectifying unit includes a contact layer(115) and a Schottky metal layer(116). A plurality of light emitting diodes receives the DC signal. The first electrode(171) covers the contact layer of the first rectifying unit and the Schottky metal layer of the second rectifying unit. An insulating layer(118) is formed between the contact layer of the first rectifying unit and the Schottky metal layer of the second rectifying unit. |
